Da unsere Jungs ja kontinuierlich am "Besetzungsrad" drehen, halte ich den Thread für angemessen.

Yes are now Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Alan White, Benoît David and Geoff Downes. Oliver Wakeman recently completed his final tour with the band (see below), but is now being replaced by Downes. Downes plays most, perhaps all, of the keys on the new album, called Fly from Here (Frontiers Records), due late Jun/early Jul 2011 (22 Jun in Japan, probably early Jul elsewhere). Touring in support will continue through 2011. It seems likely that two Yes shows (with Asia supporting) in late May will be the first with Downes.
Anmerkung: Vielleicht wollte man einfach nur Reisekosten sparen, indem nun auch für den Keyboarder die Kosten nur halb von Yes und halb von ASIA getragen werden müssen.
The decision to change keyboardist appears to date back to the beginning of 2011, possibly Jan, and before the short Rite of Spring tour was booked. A late Mar 2011 press release (covered by various websites) says, "Geoff Downes [...] has also re-joined the band for the new album" and includes a new promotional photo with White, Howe, Horn, Squire, Downes and David. However, YesWorld and Frontiers Records both carry a variant of the press release with the same photo, but without the line about Downes re-joining, and we await their official announcement of the line-up change.
On tour
Yes are touring for much of 2011. There were 19 dates on their The Rite of Spring tour, 6 Mar-4 Apr, covering the Mid, South and East of the US. These were O. Wakeman's last appearances with the band.

Who's next to be fired?
Yes ohne Squire?
