YES50 - LONDON UK FAN CONVENTION - 25th March 2018

To celebrate YES’s 50th anniversary year in 2018, a special #YES50 fan day and other events have been arranged to coincide with the London tour dates of 24th & 25th March. Devised by YES fans for YES fans, the weekend’s Fan Convention Day will be on the afternoon of March 25th, 2018, at the London Palladium in England, UK, the final date of the UK tour.

This will be the very first time such an official event has been held in the UK. A half century is worth celebrating, so on the special Sunday, YES fans from around the world can immerse themselves in all things YES in the centre of London, where it all began for the band back in 1968.

With events happening all weekend, the Sunday will consist of specially selected vendor tables including, official YES Merchandise, Roger Dean and Warners (Record Company) will be present. A specially created historic YES bus tour of YES sites will be run over the weekend along with a display of YES memorabilia covering their 50 years. YES alumni are scheduled to appear along with two UK YES tribute bands. There will be a limited number of tickets available. Therefore, we advise you to book early for this special YES celebration day.

FRIDAY MARCH 23rd 2018

☆ 8.30am – 12.45pm. YES 50th Anniversary Tour (Tor) of London[/strong] YES history comes alive for three mornings over the weekend. For the very first and only time, a bus tour has been created visiting historically important YES sites around the centre of London. These unique morning tours will cost £35.00.
All weekend there will be VERY LIMITED NUMBERS AVAILABLE

Beneficiaries

The YES UK Fan Convention Day is a non-profit organised event for YES fans. Once the costs have been covered any remaining monies will be donated to two chosen charities: The Christie Hospital in Manchester, who looked after the much-loved YES fan Malcolm Birkett, prior to his passing in 2015. ‘Kangaroos’ whose aims are to enhance the lives of special needs and disabled children since 1994. Man liest das einfach, wenn man Tickets kaufen will (eventim UK) Für das Samstagskonzert in London gibt es keine Tickets mehr, für Sonntag gibt es noch normale und VIP-Tickets, aber auch nicht mehr alle. Aktuell noch verfügbar

Sie touren noch. Ab und zu ein Highlight fände ich besser als sich massenhaft mit fragwürdiger Qualität auf die Bühne zu drängen. Sorry, aber Du hast gefragt und es herrscht ja Meinungsfreiheit.

Och, war gar nicht so schlimm, was aber auch an deinem schwachen Argument liegt.
"fragwürdige Qualität" war ja, je nach Sichtweise, schon immer ein Thema.
Ich kritisiere an YES, dass es die alten Betonschädel nicht fertig bringen gemeinsam etwas zu machen.
Sie sollten mutiger sein bei der Songwahl ihrer Setlisten, da täten ein paar Ideen und Überraschungen ganz gut.
Dauernd ist die Rede von neuen Alben, was ich völlig übertrieben finde. Das muß überhaupt nicht sein.
Es reichte schon, wenn man hin und wieder einen neuen Song ausarbeiten und Live präsentieren würde.
